History

In the early 1920’s, my grandfather, William Perliter, opened his radiator and
metal works business in Southern California repairing, rebuilding and
restoring radiators for cars and trucks.

He was known for his high quality craftsmanship and the meticulous
attention he paid to the smallest details in his work.
Today, my father Harold and I continue the family tradition
striving for excellence and perfection in each and every project.
Since 1923, the cornerstones of our family business have been integrity and
unparalleled customer service

From its humble beginnings in the farming community of Oxnard, California, over 85 years ago, our business grew to include: Santa Monica Radiator, Harrision Radiator, Mack’s Radiator and James Van Dusen Automotive in Santa Monica; Balboa Radiator & Auto Parts in Los Angeles and Bun’s Radiator & Air Conditioning in Culver City.

While we still provide the same traditional radiator shop services that my grandfather perfected in the 1920’s, we now offer complete automotive repair and maintenance services for cars, trucks, SUV’s and hybrid vehicles.
